# Snaption

> Snaption is a Chrome extension for Notion-native teams that turns a browser workflow into an editable, screenshot-rich Notion page in the database the user chooses.

Snaption runs from the Chrome sidepanel. The user signs in with Notion, selects one Notion database, captures supported interactions on a regular web page as ordered steps with screenshots, reviews and edits the draft, and publishes the result as an ordinary Notion page (numbered step headings, optional descriptions, and image blocks). Captured data stays in local extension state until the user chooses to publish.

Snaption is intentionally narrow — Chrome browser workflows in, editable Notion pages out. It is not a hosted guide library, a general-purpose knowledge base, a desktop app, or a video/narration tool, and Notion is its only publish destination. Capture is limited to top-level http and https pages; password-field values are excluded from captured fields, though screenshots can still show anything visible on screen.
